Cutting edge biscuit pack

Our Featherstone and Livingston plants and a team from United Biscuits created a literally ‘cutting edge’ retail ready pack which transforms the art of perforation into a science. Specially developed steels with ingenious cutting profiles allow multiple perforations to be used on the same case.

The pack has unique U-shaped perforations that provide greater protection in transit than conventional packs and can be converted quickly and easily into a display case. This Starpack award winner has become the design of choice for most biscuit manufacturers.

The most recent development of this design has enabled the packs to be put on shelf two deep and in line to meet the retailers’ requirement to reduce stock-outs.
