Hard savings for soft tissues

DS Smith Corrugated at Louth developed a retail ready easy open case for Staples Disposable to display a range of tissues which had previously been hand decanted onto the shelf from a brown box.

The pack contains 24 tissue cartons and provides excellent visibility on all sides. The removable top section can be torn off quickly and easily thanks to an innovative use of perforations. Since its introduction the new pack has helped to increase sales by 15% as well as creating material savings of 33%. Pallet cube efficiency has risen by 21% and product loss reduced by 12%.
