The use of this environmentally conscious alternative eliminates the need to repack from the nursery tray into the clamshell thus reducing handling time, additional component cost and plastic recycling.

The young plants are held securely within the fitment, the internal slots locating the young plants’ stems to prevent foliage damage and soil leakage. These fitments can be erected and filled either in the same packing operation or independently of the outer packing. Designed to be two layers in the current outer transit case, this tray fitment can be used as an individual or single unit.
