Thompson and Morgan Postal Case

A postal pack, which provides product security, great pack presentation, and is a valuable addition to Thompson & Morgan’s direct mail and internet service.

This postal pack was designed and developed for Thompson & Morgan (UK) Ltd, the oldest company in the horticultural business. Focussing on the demand for seeds and young plants, an opportunity arose for the mail order delivery of house-plants, particularly during seasonal periods and special occasions. This new single pass B flute corrugated outer case with a die-cut “U” insert offers a strong and robust construction, ensuring safe transit for its fragile contents.

The completed unit’s three-colour “wrapping paper” print conveys a ‘gift image’, which is further enhanced when opening the pack to display the contents. The cost effective method of manufacture and Post-Print method provides flexibility for future promotions or additional seasonal ranges. As well as “crumple zones” the corrugated fitment also incorporates an internal locking device to hold the plant securely during transit, helping eliminate foliage damage whilst aiding ease of removal of the contents by the recipient.

This corrugated postal pack and fitment is 100% recyclable.
