Wells and Young's Family of Beer Wraps

Manufactured in fully recyclable ‘B’ flute corrugated board, this range of wraparound blanks is printed, bobst die-cut, mechanically stripped and transferred from the die-press straight to the pallet for delivery to the brewery. Then, machine assembled, packed and sealed, the completed pack is automatically palletized and dispatched to various retail outlets and wholesalers. The addition of a Retail Ready opening device provides on-shelf display by creating an on-shelf tray, previously supplied into stores as a shrink-wrapped unit.

However, to fully appreciate the evolution of this UK Packaging Award entry, a history of its print development must be understood. The progression to a post-printed substrate has enabled a greater flexibility and cost efficiency when producing promotional packs. It has also eliminated the requirement for minimum quantity or run lengths based on the availability of reels of pre-printed liners, whilst maintaining a consistency of product identity across the whole branded range.

This pack is also 100% recyclable.
