DS Smith Packaging strikes gold at EFTA

DS Smith Packaging has added to its tally of over 80 design and print awards in the past few years by winning three golds and five silvers at EFTA 2009.

DS Smith Sacks, with its Sharwoods Puppodums pack, and DS Smith Pre-Print Clay Cross with a pack for Maynard’s, showed how both narrow and wide web flexographic printing can produce outstanding results. Both packs won gold awards.

In the petfoods sector, DS Smith Sacks won another gold with a pack for Farmway Horse and Pony Nuts. All three gold awards demonstrate how it is possible to use impressive print effects to compete for the consumer’s attention in store.

DS Smith Packaging SouthWest won silvers for Wells and Young Double Chocolate Stout as well as Constellation Echo Falls Californian Red, showing its expertise in the drinks packaging market.
