Chillers and frozen food cabinets present special challenges for corrugated packaging. Performance packaging is needed to cope with temperature and moisture issues whilst the packs must be designed to achieve high standards of appearance and visual display in an area where shelving is limited.

Developing Retail Ready Packaging for chilled and frozen foods can pose some serious challenges which can be thoroughly explored in a simulated supermarket environment at our Impact and Innovation Centre.

Our company abounds with new ideas for this sector, such as the flat pack freezer box developed for Sainsbury's designed to assist shoppers to take home frozen food products more easily, an inventive pack which won a Worldstar award.
